Welcome to the Elementary Schools Site

The elementary schools in the Meridian Joint School District serve students in grades k through 5.  The schools range in size from 350 students to more than 700.

Many of these schools have been built in the last 10 years, as enrollment has increased at the elementary level across the district.  The oldest elementary schools in the district are Ustick, Star, Meridian, Eagle, and Mary McPherson, which represent the first schools approved by the voters after Joint School District No. 2 was formed in 1950.

All of the district's elementary schools have been upgraded and improved over the years, largely due to the community's support for a Plant Facility Levy that provides resources to re-paint, re-carpet, re-roof and make additions, expand and remodel existing schools. The individual school's web page can be accessed by following the category headings to the left ("Boise Area Schools," "Eagle/Star Area Schools," and "Meridian Area Schools").

If you have questions or concerns regarding your childs transportation to and from school please contact the transportation department at 855-4440.
