Modified Year-Round Calendar (Track E)

Pioneer Elementary School of the Arts is a Magnet School which allows students from six area schools - Summerwind, Discovery, Ustick, Joplin, Frontier and McMillan to attend Pioneer.  Parents of students must apply to Pioneer and acceptance is granted through a lottery.  Application forms are available through the Meridian School web site.

Idaho State Department of Education Standards are taught through a collaborative, inter-disciplinary approach that integrates visual arts, music and kinesthetic movement into classroom instruction.

Pioneer is one of four schools in Meridian School District with a modified calendar.  Pioneer is a one-track modified calendar school with three weeks off in November and March.  Students attend school through the month of June.
