In the Meridian Joint School District, 24 of our 28 elementary schools offer traditional school calendars. Review the calendars to find dates for the first and last day of school, holiday breaks, etc.

Multi-Track, or “year round” calendars give parents and students an 11-month option for attending school. With a year-round calendar, children attend school the same number of days during the year as students at schools with a traditional calendar.  There are five different tracks available, which allows for five separate schedules within a school. The basic schedule with any track is alternating periods of approximately 12 weeks of schooling followed by a three-week break.

In addition, students have a number of common holidays, including Labor Day, Thanksgiving Vacation, Christmas Vacation, Human Rights Day, President’s Day, Spring Break, and Memorial Day.  With the multi-track calendar, all students also have the month of July off.
