WHO WE ARE

At Linder we feel that in order for students to succeed, they need to know that they are part of a community in which they are cared for.  At Linder, we provide such a caring community, while still setting high expectations for your child's academic goals.  At Linder, we take pride in our students and all of their many accomplishments.  Linder Elementary offers a safe, caring environment in which we prepare your child not only to be successful in the academic world, but the world in which we live.

Every student who enters our halls is greeted with a positive attitude, and is encouraged to learn, achieve, win, and succeed.  Our highly motivated and skilled staff is committed to ensuring that each child learns and experiences success at all grade levels. 

PROGRAMS AT LINDER

 Linder provides the following programs for students and their families:

  • Big Friend Groups (BFG's), friendship groups to build relationships to help students feel part of a whole school community and to build a safe place to come and learn
  • Mondo Literacy Program with an emphasis on Oral Language
  • Character Awards Celebration Assembly (1 per month)
  • Save One Student (SOS) Program, each staff member that volunteers "adopts" one student to be a positive role model in his/her life at school
  • English class for families in the evenings
  • All day kindergarten program for ELL critical beginners
  • VISTA Volunteer program to recruit and train volunteers to work in our school
  • Love & Logic classes for parents and staff
  • Free breakfast is made available to ALL students from Linder
  • Stories & Snacks nights for 1st graders and their parents
  • School-wide investigative approach to math curriculum
  • Celebrate hard-working parents with annual Career Day
  • We are a Professional Learning Community
