Lee Alb
1st Grade Magnet Teacher
Lee received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Southern Oregon State College and her Master's Degree in Reading from Boise State University. Lee has taught in the Meridian School District since 1989. She taught 1st grade at Eagle Hills Elementary for eight years before transferring to Chaparral Elementary, where she taught 2nd grade for two years and 1st grade for seven years. Lee was honored as Teacher of the Year in 2000-2001. Lee is married and has four grown children--three sons and one step- daughter--and four grandchildren. Her husband is retired from the Idaho Transportation Department.

Robyn Aguiar
1st Grade Teacher
Robin received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Boise State University and has been teaching 1st grade for the past 11 years. Robin is married to an elementary school principal in the Boise School District and has three boys ranging in age from 3 to 13 years.
“I love teaching 1st grade! I believe it is a foundational year in developing reading, writing, and mathematical skills. The reward in teaching this grade is watching these children grow and learn tremendously as the year progresses."

Delores Schmidt
1st Grade Teacher
Delores received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Boise State University and has been teaching first grade at Summerwind Elementary for the past 11 years. She previously taught first grade for four years in a private school in Boise. Delores was honored as Teacher of the Year in 2005-2006. Delores has been married to her husband Jay for over 25 years, and together they have three children ranging in age from 16 to 24, and have two grandsons.
“My passions in life have been my family and my teaching. There is a familiar saying that I love: ‘To teach is to touch a life forever.’ In my experience, I have found that the children I have been blessed to have in my classroom have in turn touched my life forever as well. I look forward to a great year of learning and fun as we embark on this exciting journey at Paramount.”

Kristin Confalone
1st Grade Teacher
Kristin received her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and Psychology from Cal State University, Long Beach, and later earned her teaching certification in Elementary Education from Boise State University. After working for several years teaching pre-kindergarten, she began working in the Meridian School District in 2002. Kristin has worked in the ELL program as a Title 1 teacher, and has taught kindergarten and 1st grade. Kristin has been married to her husband Steve for 20 years. She is the mother of two fantastic children – son Joe (16) and daughter Sophie (12).
“I am blessed to have the best job in the world! Teaching is both challenging and rewarding, and there is nothing else I would rather do. I am honored to have the opportunity to join such a wonderful staff. I am very excited to meet and work with the new parents and children at Paramount!”
