Melissa Ireland
Kindergarten Magnet Teacher 1/2 PM
Melissa graduated in 1999 from Albertson College of Idaho with her BA in Elementary Education & Spanish. In 2001, she received a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from NNU. Melissa is fluent in Spanish. She has taught for 9 years, and this will be her 4th years teaching kindergarten. Melissa is married with two young children--ages 3 & 1.

Kelly Stred

Kelly received her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Sacramento in 2000. She received her teaching credential through San Francisco State University in 2002. Kelly taught 1st grade in California for four years and one year teaching kindergarten at Eagle Hills Elementary. Kelly moved to Meridian in April 2006, and will be getting married September 8, 2007. She has two "children," a 2-year-old Bullmastiff named Kya and a 2-year-old Staffordshire terrier named Kona.
"I just don't feel complete without stepping into my classroom every day. There are so many spectacular things that take place there and I love to watch the children's light bulbs click each and every day. I am looking forward to an amazing year together and I can't wait to meet you!"
