Billie Jo Premoe
Intermediate Music Teacher
Billie Jo received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa. She has taught in the Meridian School District for 23 years, serving at Frontier, Chaparral, Joplin, Pioneer, and Meridian Middle School. Before coming to the Meridian School District, she taught 10 years in Eagleville, MO, Jerome, American Falls, and Boise. Billie Jo is married and has two grown children and one grandchild.

Carol Friedli
Primary Music Teacher
Carol received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in music and early childhood education, from Weber State University. She has taught music in the Meridian School District for 23 years, serving at Frontier, Chaparral, and Eagle Elementary. Carol taught Kindergarten for three years in Weber County while her husband was working on his Ph.D. at the University of Utah. Carol was honored as Teacher of the Year in 1990 and has also received an award of distinction from the Meridian Rotary Club. Carol is married and has four children and eight grandchildren. She enjoys cooking, sewing, fishing with her husband, and of course, playing with the grandchildren. Carol loves working with children! She uses lots of instruments, puppets, movement activities, and singing to help children learn music concepts.
