Melisa Whipple
Resource Room Teacher
Melisa received her Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Studies from the University of North Texas in 1995. She received her Special Education teaching certificate the following year. Melisa taught special education in Texas for four years and then moved to Colorado, where she taught an additional five years. In 2004, she received her Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Colorado. In January 2005, her husband's job transferred them to Boise. She has taught in the Meridian School District for the last two years at Frontier Elementary. Melisa is married and had her first child, Duncan, in April of 2007. Melisa has two dogs, which she considers her children as well, named Ali and Frazier (they are Boxers). Melisa enjoys being outdoors, running, and spending time with her family.
