Cheryl Heuett
4th Grade Magnet Teacher
Cheryl attended both the University of Idaho and Boise State University and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She has taught for 11 years for the Meridian School District--three years at Summerwind Elementary and the last eight years at Chaparral Elementary where she received the “Teacher of the Year” award in 2004-05. She is married to Jacob, a financial advisor for Wachovia Securities in Boise. They have a five-year-old son Kaden, who they think is the best!

Trudy Chambers
4th Grade Teacher
Trudy received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Idaho State University and has taught in the Meridian School District for 10 years, teaching Kindergarten, 1st and 4th grades. Trudy is married and has two children--a daughter Emily who is ten and a son Alex, who is six.
“I am looking forward to the rewards and challenges of teaching in a brand new school. I can honestly say I am one of the lucky people to have found a job that I absolutely love. I enjoy spending time with my family too, but I feel very fortunate to be able to work with great people I work with and especially with kids. They make every day new and exciting. I can’t wait to start the new school year, and meet all the families that I will be working with in the years to come!”
